This longhorn was given to a friend of the Thornberry's as a Christmas gift quite a few years back. It was given to a graduate of the University of Texas (Longhorns) and she absolutely loved him. She named him "Tex", and what else could he have been named?
As he was showing me around his ranch, Mr. Thornberry demonstrated how tame Tex was by letting him eat out of his hand.
