In 1996, Brian first began shooting photographs with the intent on selling his images. At first, he specialized in photography that accentuated the rural scenes of the midwestern plains and also the high plains of the Texas Panhandle. Brian hasn’t ventured too far from his original photographic ideas. After all, he still does a majority of his photography in the plains.
In 1997 Brian began to concentrate his time and resources on cowboy photography when he visited his first ranches. The majestic beauty of the West Texas ranches overwhelmed him. Brian traveled with his camera to such ranching communities as Throckmorton, Benjamin, Canadian, and to all the small towns in-between.
