This windmill is still working and is one of the older models on the Don Thornberry Ranch. After missing an opportunity to photograph a branding at the Thronberry's. Mr. Thornberry granted me the opportunity to take a drive through his ranch which lies on the outskirts of Palo Duro Canyon. We ran across this windmill on one of his pastures and I had to get a picture of this wooden structure. I hope to one day take more pictures of the windmills in the Clarendon area.
